Banacep Tablets are a prescription-only veterinary medicine used in dogs and cats for the management of conditions where inhibition of the renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system is clinically indicated.
They contain benazepril hydrochloride, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor commonly prescribed for the management of congestive heart failure in dogs and chronic kidney disease in cats. Banacep helps reduce blood pressure and decrease the workload on the heart and kidneys.
Banacep Tablets are administered orally and are typically prescribed as part of a long-term management plan. Dose and treatment duration are adjusted based on clinical response and ongoing veterinary assessment.
This product is a prescription-only veterinary medicine (POM-V).
Dosage, frequency of administration, and duration of treatment are determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon and provided on the dispensing label. Animals receiving long-term ACE inhibitor therapy may require regular monitoring as advised by their vet.
