- Uploaded prescriptions are valid for up to 6 months or until the prescribed number of repeats has been supplied, whichever comes first. In accordance with UK Veterinary Medicines Regulations, we are legally required to retain veterinary prescriptions for a minimum of 5 years.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
ProZinc 40 IU/ml contains protamine zinc recombinant human insulin and is indicated for the treatment of diabetes mellitus in cats and dogs.
ProZinc is a long-acting U-40 insulin formulated for veterinary use. It is administered by subcutaneous injection and is typically given twice daily according to the prescribing veterinary surgeon’s instructions.
ProZinc may be prescribed for diabetic dogs and cats requiring insulin therapy to regulate blood glucose levels and reduce associated clinical signs such as polyuria, polydipsia, weight loss and lethargy.
This product is a prescription-only veterinary medicine (POM-V).
Dosage, administration frequency and ongoing monitoring requirements are determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon and provided on the dispensing label. ProZinc must be used with compatible U-40 insulin syringes.

Cold Chain Handling & Delivery
ProZinc is a refrigerated medicine and must be stored between 2–8°C.
Orders are dispatched using validated insulated packaging designed to maintain temperature stability for over 72 hours. All insulin orders are sent via Royal Mail Signed 24.
An adult must be available to receive the parcel on the day of delivery.
If delivery is missed, delayed, redirected or left unattended, temperature integrity cannot be guaranteed. For this reason, the cost of refrigerated medicines cannot be refunded once dispatched.
Cold chain medicines are dispatched Monday–Thursday only to avoid weekend transit delays.
