PRODUCT INFORMATION
For the treatment of pituitary-dependent and adrenal-dependent hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing’s disease) in dogs.
Vetoryl is a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing trilostane, licensed for use in dogs. It is indicated for the management of hyperadrenocorticism by inhibiting the synthesis of cortisol.
Trilostane works by reversibly blocking an enzyme involved in adrenal steroid production, helping to reduce excessive cortisol levels associated with Cushing’s disease. Appropriate dosing and regular monitoring are essential to ensure effective and safe treatment, as directed by a veterinary surgeon.
Vetoryl Capsules are intended for long-term use in dogs diagnosed with hyperadrenocorticism and should be administered consistently according to veterinary guidance.
Vetoryl should only be used under veterinary supervision and supplied against a valid veterinary prescription.
Capsules may be supplied either as individual capsules dispensed from original manufacturer packaging or as full sealed manufacturer packs, depending on the option selected and the veterinary prescription.
Further information, including contraindications and potential side effects, can be found in the product data sheet available here.
