PRODUCT INFORMATION
Vetbromide 600mg Tablets are a prescription-only veterinary medicine used in the management of epilepsy in dogs.
Vetbromide contains potassium bromide, an antiepileptic agent prescribed for long-term seizure control. It may be used as monotherapy or in combination with other antiepileptic medicines, in accordance with the clinical judgement of the prescribing veterinary surgeon.
Potassium bromide has a long half-life and is typically used for maintenance therapy. Dosing is individualised and serum bromide concentrations are monitored by the prescribing veterinary surgeon to optimise seizure control while minimising adverse effects.

Vetbromide 600mg tablets allow dosing to be tailored to the individual patient’s requirements. Treatment is generally long term and requires regular clinical review and therapeutic monitoring.
This product is a Prescription Only Medicine – Veterinarian (POM-V).
Dosage, frequency of treatment, and administration instructions are determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon and will be provided on the dispensing label.
Further information, including contraindications, precautions, and potential adverse reactions, can be found in the product datasheet available here.
