Uriphex Oral Solution contains phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride and is used in the management of urinary incontinence associated with urethral sphincter incompetence in dogs.
Urinary incontinence is commonly seen in spayed female dogs and may present as urine leakage during rest or sleep. Phenylpropanolamine works by increasing urethral sphincter tone to help improve continence.

What Is Uriphex Used For?
Uriphex is used for the treatment of urinary incontinence associated with urethral sphincter mechanism incompetence in dogs.
The condition is most commonly diagnosed in neutered female dogs, although it can occur in other patients.
How Does Phenylpropanolamine Work?
Phenylpropanolamine is a sympathomimetic agent which increases tone within the urethral sphincter, helping reduce involuntary urine leakage.
Important Information
Uriphex should only be used under veterinary supervision.
Dogs with cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, or other underlying medical conditions may require additional monitoring.
Owners should contact their veterinary surgeon if clinical signs worsen or if adverse effects are observed.
