PRODUCT INFORMATION
Trilorale Oral Suspension 50 mg/ml for Dogs is a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing trilostane. It is licensed for the treatment of pituitary-dependent and adrenal-dependent hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing's syndrome) in dogs.
Cushing's syndrome is a hormonal condition caused by excessive cortisol production. Common clinical signs may include increased thirst, increased urination, increased appetite, panting, lethargy, muscle weakness, coat changes and changes to body shape. Treatment aims to help manage these clinical signs and improve quality of life.
Trilorale is supplied as an oral suspension, providing a liquid alternative to capsule formulations of trilostane. The dose is tailored to the individual patient and may be adjusted over time based on clinical response and monitoring results.
Dogs receiving trilostane treatment require regular veterinary monitoring to ensure treatment remains safe and effective. Owners should always follow the dosing instructions provided by their veterinary surgeon and seek veterinary advice if they have any concerns regarding treatment.
This is a POM-V medicine and can only be supplied against a valid written veterinary prescription.
