Tralieve Chewable Tablets for Dogs (Tramadol Hydrochloride) SCH 3 CD

Tralieve chewable tablets are a prescription-only veterinary medicine used in the management of pain in dogs.

Tralieve contains tramadol hydrochloride, an analgesic that may be prescribed by veterinary surgeons to assist in the control of mild to moderate pain, including pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions or soft tissue injury, in accordance with the clinical judgement of the prescribing veterinary surgeon.

The chewable tablet formulation is designed to improve acceptance in dogs and allows flexible dosing according to bodyweight and clinical response. Tralieve tablets are available in multiple strengths to support accurate dosing and individualised pain management as directed by the prescribing veterinary surgeon.

Tralieve is a Schedule 3 controlled veterinary medicine. A valid written prescription is required before supply. Prescriptions for Schedule 3 medicines are valid for 28 days from the date of issue and may only be dispensed once, unless issued as an instalment prescription by the prescribing veterinary surgeon.

Prescriptions must be signed in ink by the prescribing veterinary surgeon. For Schedule 3 controlled drugs, the original hard-copy prescription must be sent by post before the medicine can be supplied. The postal address and instructions will be provided during checkout.

This product is a Prescription Only Medicine – Veterinarian (POM-V).

Dosage, frequency of treatment, and administration instructions are determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon and are provided on the dispensing label.
