PRODUCT INFORMATION
For the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis and other superficial ocular infections in dogs, cats and rabbits.
Tiacil Ophthalmic Solution is a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing gentamicin sulphate, an aminoglycoside antibiotic licensed for ophthalmic use in multiple species.
Gentamicin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, helping to control susceptible Gram-negative and certain Gram-positive organisms involved in superficial eye infections. Tiacil is indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis and other susceptible ocular infections, as directed by a veterinary surgeon.
Treatment duration and dosing frequency should follow veterinary instructions, and response to therapy should be monitored to ensure continued safety and effectiveness.
Tiacil should only be used under veterinary supervision and supplied against a valid veterinary prescription.
Further information, including contraindications and potential side effects, can be found in the product data sheet available here.
