PRODUCT INFORMATION
Synulox orders placed before 3:00pm are now available for same day dispatch, subject to a valid prescription being received and stock availability. Saturday cut-off is 11:00am.
Synulox is a widely used veterinary antibiotic containing amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. It is prescribed for dogs and cats to treat a broad range of bacterial infections affecting the skin, soft tissues, urinary tract, and respiratory system.
The addition of clavulanic acid helps overcome bacterial resistance, making Synulox effective against infections that may not respond to standard amoxicillin alone. It is commonly used in both first-line and follow-up treatment plans where bacterial involvement is suspected or confirmed.
Synulox is available in multiple formulations to suit different patients, including palatable tablets and oral drops, allowing flexible dosing for both dogs and cats. The palatable tablet formulation is designed to be readily accepted, while the liquid form is particularly useful for smaller patients or those that are difficult to medicate.
For full prescribing information, including dosing guidelines, contraindications, and warnings, please refer to the official product datasheet here or here for the palatable drops.
As a licensed veterinary medicine in the UK, Synulox must be prescribed by a veterinary surgeon and supplied against a valid prescription.
