PRODUCT INFORMATION
Senvelgo Oral Solution is a prescription-only veterinary medicine used for the management of diabetes mellitus in cats.
It contains velagliflozin, a sodium–glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor that works by reducing renal glucose reabsorption, thereby lowering blood glucose levels. Senvelgo is indicated for use in cats with diabetes mellitus and may be prescribed as part of a structured diabetic management plan determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon.
Senvelgo is supplied as a palatable oral solution and is administered once daily using the graduated dosing syringe provided. Ongoing monitoring is required during treatment, including regular assessment of clinical response and blood glucose levels.
This product is a prescription-only veterinary medicine (POM-V).
The dose, frequency, and duration of treatment are determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon based on the cat’s body weight, clinical status, and response to therapy. Administration instructions will be provided on the dispensing label and should be followed exactly.
Further information, including contraindications, warnings, and potential side effects, can be found in the product data sheet available here.
