PRODUCT INFORMATION
Semintra Oral Solution is a prescription-only veterinary medicine used for the treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in cats and dogs.
It contains telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), which helps reduce protein loss in the urine and supports kidney function by lowering intraglomerular pressure. Semintra is commonly prescribed as part of the long-term management of chronic kidney disease, including cases associated with proteinuria.
Semintra is supplied as a palatable oral solution, administered once daily using the graduated dosing syringe provided. It is suitable for long-term use, with treatment duration determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon.
This product is a prescription-only veterinary medicine (POM-V).
The dose, frequency, and duration of treatment are determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon based on the animal’s body weight, clinical condition, and response to therapy. Administration instructions will be provided on the dispensing label and should be followed carefully.
