PRODUCT INFORMATION
Rilexine Palatable Tablets are a prescription-only veterinary medicine used in dogs for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms.
They contain cefalexin, a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic commonly prescribed in small-animal practice. Rilexine is widely used for the treatment of skin and soft-tissue infections, including superficial and deep pyoderma, wounds, abscesses, and other susceptible bacterial infections.
Rilexine Palatable Tablets are administered orally and are designed to improve ease of administration and compliance in dogs requiring antibiotic treatment. Treatment is typically prescribed as a short-term course, although longer courses may be required depending on the severity of infection and clinical response.
This product is a prescription-only veterinary medicine (POM-V).
Dosage, duration of treatment, and administration instructions are determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon and provided on the dispensing label. The full course should always be completed as prescribed, even if clinical signs improve before treatment is finished.
