PRODUCT INFORMATION

For the treatment of non-infectious otitis externa in dogs and cats.

Recicort Ear Drops Solution is a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing triamcinolone acetonide and salicylic acid. It is licensed for the treatment of inflammatory ear conditions not caused by bacterial or fungal infection.

Triamcinolone acetonide is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, swelling and discomfort within the external ear canal. Salicylic acid supports keratolytic activity, helping to remove debris and improve penetration within the ear canal. Recicort does not contain an antibiotic or antifungal agent and is indicated where inflammation is present without confirmed infection, as directed by a veterinary surgeon.

Treatment duration and dosing frequency should follow veterinary instructions. Clinical response should be monitored to ensure continued safety and effectiveness.

Recicort should only be used under veterinary supervision and supplied against a valid veterinary prescription.

Contraindications and potential side effects, can be found in the product data sheet available here.
