PRODUCT INFORMATION

Propalin Syrup is a prescription-only veterinary medicine used in the management of urinary incontinence due to urethral sphincter mechanism incompetence in dogs.

Propalin contains phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride, a sympathomimetic agent that may be prescribed to increase urethral tone and improve continence in affected dogs, in accordance with the clinical judgement of the prescribing veterinary surgeon.

The liquid formulation allows accurate dosing using an oral syringe, making it suitable for long-term administration where ongoing management is required.

Propalin may be prescribed as part of a long-term treatment plan, with dosage and response monitored and adjusted by the prescribing veterinary surgeon.

This product is a prescription-only veterinary medicine (POM-V).

Dosage, frequency of treatment, and administration instructions are determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon and are provided on the dispensing label.

Further information, including contraindications and potential side effects, can be found in the product data sheet available here.
