PRODUCT INFORMATION
Previcox Chewable Tablets are a prescription-only veterinary medicine used for the management of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in dogs.
They contain firocoxib, a selective COX-2 non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) commonly prescribed for dogs requiring long-term analgesia with a favourable safety profile. Previcox may also be used for the control of post-operative pain and inflammation following orthopaedic or soft tissue surgery, where appropriate.
The chewable tablet formulation is designed to improve palatability and ease of administration, supporting compliance in dogs requiring ongoing pain management.
Previcox Tablets may be prescribed for short-term use or as part of a longer-term management plan, depending on the underlying condition and the clinical judgement of the prescribing veterinary surgeon.
This product is a prescription-only veterinary medicine (POM-V).
Dosage, duration of treatment, and administration instructions are determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon and provided on the dispensing label. Dogs receiving long-term NSAID therapy may require regular monitoring as advised by their vet.
