PRODUCT INFORMATION

For the treatment of otitis externa in dogs.

Posatex Ear Drops Suspension is a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing orbifloxacin, posaconazole and mometasone furoate. It is licensed for the treatment of bacterial and fungal ear infections associated with inflammation in dogs.

Posatex combines a fluoroquinolone antibiotic effective against susceptible bacteria, a broad-spectrum antifungal agent targeting Malassezia species, and a potent corticosteroid to reduce inflammation, swelling and discomfort within the external ear canal. It is indicated for mixed infections and inflammatory ear conditions, as directed by a veterinary surgeon.

The formulation is administered once daily, which may improve treatment compliance compared to multi-dose regimens. Clinical response should be monitored to ensure continued safety and effectiveness.

Posatex should only be used under veterinary supervision and supplied against a valid veterinary prescription.
