PRODUCT INFORMATION
For the control of idiopathic epilepsy in dogs.
Pexion is a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing imepitoin, licensed for use in dogs. It is an antiepileptic treatment indicated for the management of idiopathic epilepsy characterised by generalised seizures.
Imepitoin acts by modulating neuronal excitability in the brain, helping to stabilise electrical activity and reduce the frequency and severity of seizures when administered consistently, as directed by a veterinary surgeon.
Pexion Tablets are commonly prescribed as a first-line treatment for canine idiopathic epilepsy and may be suitable for dogs requiring long-term seizure management.
Pexion should only be used under veterinary supervision and supplied against a valid veterinary prescription.
Tablets may be supplied either as individual tablets dispensed from original manufacturer packaging or as full sealed manufacturer packs, depending on the option selected and the veterinary prescription.
Further information, including contraindications and potential side effects, can be found in the product data sheet available here.
