PRODUCT INFORMATION

For the treatment of non-resectable Patnaik grade II (intermediate grade) or grade III (high grade), recurrent, cutaneous mast cell tumours in dogs.

Palladia tablets are a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing toceranib phosphate. They are licensed for use in dogs for the treatment of recurrent mast cell tumours where surgical removal is not possible.

Toceranib is a targeted anti-cancer medicine belonging to a class of drugs known as tyrosine kinase inhibitors. These medicines work by blocking signalling pathways involved in tumour growth and the development of blood vessels that supply tumours.

Palladia should be administered exactly as directed by a veterinary surgeon. Dogs receiving treatment usually require regular veterinary monitoring, which may include clinical examinations and laboratory testing to assess treatment response and detect potential adverse effects.

Palladia is an anti-cancer medicine and should be handled carefully. Tablets should remain in their original blister packaging until administration and should not be broken or crushed. Hands should be washed after handling the medication and disposable gloves may be worn when administering tablets.

Palladia should only be used under veterinary supervision and supplied against a valid veterinary prescription.

Further information, including contraindications and potential side effects, can be found in the product data sheet available here.
