PRODUCT INFORMATION

Noroclav Tablets are a prescription-only veterinary antibacterial medicine containing amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Vetalia supplies Noroclav as individual tablets, allowing the quantity dispensed to match the veterinary prescription.

Noroclav is used for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections. The licensed target species and indications vary by tablet strength, so the strength and quantity supplied must match the prescription issued by your veterinary surgeon.

Available Noroclav strengths

  • 50mg – contains 40mg amoxicillin and 10mg clavulanic acid; licensed for dogs and cats.
  • 250mg – contains 200mg amoxicillin and 50mg clavulanic acid; licensed for dogs.
  • 500mg – contains 400mg amoxicillin and 100mg clavulanic acid; licensed for dogs.

What is Noroclav used for?

Noroclav is an amoxicillin/clavulanic acid veterinary antibiotic. Its licensed indications include specified susceptible bacterial infections of the skin, urinary tract and respiratory tract, as well as certain cases of enteritis. Treatment should be based on veterinary assessment and appropriate antimicrobial prescribing principles.

How is Noroclav given?

Noroclav tablets are administered orally. Always give the strength, number of tablets and duration of treatment stated on your veterinary prescription. Complete the prescribed course unless your veterinary surgeon advises otherwise.

Prescription requirements

Noroclav is a POM-V (Prescription Only Medicine – Veterinarian). A valid veterinary prescription is required before it can be supplied by Vetalia.
