PRODUCT INFORMATION

Moxiclear Spot-On Solution is a prescription-only veterinary antiparasitic medicine containing imidacloprid and moxidectin. It is available in presentations for dogs and for cats/ferrets, with the appropriate pipette selected according to species and bodyweight.

What is Moxiclear?

Moxiclear is a topical antiparasitic treatment used against a range of susceptible internal and external parasites. The licensed indications vary between dogs, cats and ferrets, so treatment should follow your veterinary surgeon's prescription and the product information for the appropriate presentation.

Available packs

  • Small cats and ferrets under 4kg – 0.4ml pipettes, pack of 4.
  • Large cats 4–8kg – 0.8ml pipettes, pack of 4.
  • Small dogs under 4kg – 0.4ml pipettes, pack of 4.
  • Medium dogs 4–10kg – 1ml pipettes, pack of 4.
  • Large dogs 10–25kg – 2.5ml pipettes, pack of 4.
  • Very large dogs 25–40kg – 4ml pipettes, pack of 4.

Administration

Moxiclear is applied topically to the skin. Use only the presentation prescribed for the animal's species and bodyweight and follow your veterinary surgeon's directions. This product is for external use only.

Important information

Do not use the dog presentations in cats or ferrets. Correct species and weight selection is important because the concentrations and pipette volumes differ between presentations.

Prescription requirements

Moxiclear is a POM-V (Prescription Only Medicine – Veterinarian). A valid veterinary prescription is required before Vetalia can supply this medicine.
