Metacam Oral Suspension is a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing meloxicam, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) licensed for use in dogs.
Meloxicam acts by reducing the production of inflammatory mediators, helping to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, osteoarthritis, and post-operative recovery, as directed by a veterinary surgeon.
Metacam Oral Suspension for Dogs is suitable for both short-term and long-term use where appropriate. Ongoing treatment should be monitored by a veterinary surgeon to ensure continued safety and effectiveness.
Metacam should only be used under veterinary supervision and supplied against a valid veterinary prescription.
