PRODUCT INFORMATION

Lodisure Tablets are a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing amlodipine, licensed for use in cats with high blood pressure.

Lodisure is indicated for the treatment of systemic hypertension in cats, a condition commonly associated with chronic kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, or idiopathic hypertension. Effective blood pressure control is essential to reduce the risk of target organ damage, including ocular, renal, cardiac, and neurological complications.

Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that works by causing peripheral vasodilation, reducing vascular resistance and lowering systemic blood pressure. Lodisure is widely regarded as a first-line antihypertensive treatment in cats.

Lodisure should only be used under the direction of a veterinary surgeon and supplied against a valid veterinary prescription.
