PRODUCT INFORMATION

For the management of congestive heart failure in dogs.

Libeo Chewable Tablets are a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing furosemide, a loop diuretic licensed for use in dogs with heart disease.

Libeo is indicated for the treatment of oedema and effusions associated with congestive heart failure, helping to reduce fluid accumulation in the lungs and body tissues. By increasing urinary excretion of sodium and water, furosemide helps relieve clinical signs such as coughing, breathlessness, and exercise intolerance.

Libeo is commonly prescribed as part of a multimodal cardiac treatment plan, alongside other heart medications, as directed by a veterinary surgeon.

Learn more about heart failure in dogs here.

Libeo should only be used under the direction of a veterinary surgeon and supplied against a valid veterinary prescription.

Further information, including contraindications and potential side effects, can be found in the official product data sheet here.
