PRODUCT INFORMATION

Laxapet is a veterinary-use oral gel designed to help manage hairballs and mild constipation in dogs and cats.

The palatable gel works by lubricating the gastrointestinal tract, helping hairballs and intestinal contents pass more easily through the gut. It is commonly used in cats prone to hairball formation and in dogs or cats experiencing occasional constipation or reduced bowel motility.

Laxapet can be given directly from the tube or mixed with food, making it easy to administer. It may be used short term for hairball management or intermittently as part of a broader digestive support plan, following veterinary advice.

Administration & Use

Cats:
For the management of hairballs or mild constipation, Laxapet may be given at 2.5–5 g once daily for 2–3 days, followed by a maintenance amount of 1–2.5 g given up to three times per week if required.

Dogs:
In dogs, Laxapet may be given at 5–10 g once daily for 2–3 days where additional gastrointestinal lubrication is required.

The gel can be administered directly into the mouth or mixed with food.

If you are unsure about the appropriate dose, duration of use, or whether this product is suitable for your pet, advice should be sought from your veterinary surgeon before use.

Laxapet is not a prescription medicine.
