PRODUCT INFORMATION

Kalm-Aid is a non-prescription calming supplement designed to support relaxed behaviour in dogs and cats during stressful situations.

It contains L-tryptophan, green tea extract and B vitamins to support normal serotonin production and nervous system function without causing drowsiness.

Kalm-Aid may be useful during fireworks, thunderstorms, travelling, veterinary visits, separation, boarding or changes to the animal’s normal environment.

Available options

  • Cat Gel 50ml: salmon-flavoured gel developed specifically for cats. One pump provides 2ml.
  • Gel 250ml: caramel-flavoured gel suitable for dogs and cats.

Administration

Give according to the animal’s weight and the instructions on the packaging. Kalm-Aid can be given directly or mixed with food.

For predictable stressful events, administer approximately one to two hours beforehand. It may also be used daily for longer-term behavioural support.

For the 50ml cat gel, the manufacturer recommends one pump daily for small cats and two pumps daily for large cats.

Important information

Kalm-Aid is a complementary feed and is not a sedative or a substitute for veterinary assessment, prescribed medication or appropriate behavioural management.

Seek veterinary advice if your pet develops sudden or significant changes in behaviour.
