PRODUCT INFORMATION
For the treatment of acute moist dermatitis (hot spots) and superficial bacterial skin infections in dogs.
Isaderm Gel is a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing fusidic acid and betamethasone. It is licensed for use in dogs for the treatment of localised bacterial skin infections where inflammation is present.
Fusidic acid is a topical antibiotic active against susceptible staphylococci. Betamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness and pruritus. The combination provides targeted antimicrobial activity while helping to relieve irritation and discomfort.
Isaderm should be applied as directed by a veterinary surgeon. Treatment duration should be limited to the prescribed period to minimise the risk of antimicrobial resistance and corticosteroid-related adverse effects.
Isaderm should only be used under veterinary supervision and supplied against a valid veterinary prescription.
Further information, including contraindications and potential side effects, can be found in the product data sheet available here.
