Hydrocortisone Aceponate Cutaneous Spray Solution is a prescription topical corticosteroid treatment used for the symptomatic treatment of inflammatory and itchy skin conditions in dogs.
It is commonly used to help manage pruritic dermatoses and to alleviate clinical signs associated with atopic dermatitis in dogs.
Active Ingredient
Each ml contains hydrocortisone aceponate 0.584mg.
What Is It Used For?
Hydrocortisone aceponate spray is used for the symptomatic treatment of inflammatory and pruritic skin disease in dogs.
It may be prescribed to help reduce redness, irritation, inflammation, itching, and discomfort associated with allergic and inflammatory skin conditions.
How Does It Work?
Hydrocortisone aceponate is a topical corticosteroid which acts locally within the skin to reduce inflammatory reactions and itching.
The spray formulation allows targeted application directly onto affected areas.
Administration
This product should be used exactly as directed by your veterinary surgeon.
The spray is applied directly onto affected skin areas from a short distance away using the pump applicator.
Treatment duration depends on the underlying condition and clinical response.
Important Information
Underlying causes of skin disease such as parasites, infection, or allergy should be investigated before or during treatment.
Dogs should be prevented from licking treated areas immediately after application where possible.
Owners should contact their veterinary surgeon if clinical signs worsen or fail to improve.
