GlandVet Soft Chews are a tasty daily nutritional supplement designed to support healthy anal gland function, stool consistency and digestive health in cats and dogs.

Anal glands normally empty naturally when an animal passes a well-formed stool. In some pets, particularly those prone to softer stools or recurrent anal gland problems, this process may be less effective. GlandVet combines soluble and insoluble fibre, probiotics, prebiotic fibres and digestive-support nutrients to help improve stool quality and support normal anal gland emptying.

The soft, chicken-flavoured chews are easy to give and are suitable for regular daily use.

How does GlandVet work?

Normal anal gland emptying relies partly on pressure created as a well-formed stool passes through the rectum. GlandVet contains a combination of fibres designed to support stool bulk and consistency, helping support this natural process.

It also contains probiotics and prebiotic fibres to help maintain a balanced intestinal microbiome, together with digestive enzymes and nutritional ingredients that support gastrointestinal health.

GlandVet contains a combination of:

• Probiotics – including Enterococcus faecium and Lactobacillus acidophilus
• Prebiotic and dietary fibres – including psyllium, oat fibre, beta-glucans, MOS and Saccharomyces cerevisiae
• Digestive-support ingredients – including bromelain from pineapple and papain from papaya
• Nutritional support – including L-glutamine, glycine, nucleotides and essential minerals

Directions for Use

Cats:

• Under 5kg – ½ chew daily
• 5–10kg – 1 chew daily

Dogs:

• Under 10kg – 1 chew daily
• 11–20kg – 2 chews daily
• 21–30kg – 3 chews daily
• 31–40kg – 4 chews daily
• Over 40kg – 5 chews daily
