PRODUCT INFORMATION
Furosoral Tablets are a prescription-only veterinary medicine used in dogs and cats for the management of conditions where diuretic therapy is indicated.
They contain furosemide, a loop diuretic commonly prescribed for the treatment of congestive heart failure, pulmonary oedema, and other conditions associated with fluid retention. Furosoral works by increasing urine production, helping to reduce excess fluid accumulation.
Furosoral Tablets are administered orally and are typically prescribed as part of a long-term management plan. Dose adjustments may be required based on clinical response and ongoing veterinary assessment.
Learn more about heart failure in dogs here.
This product is a prescription-only veterinary medicine (POM-V).
Dosage, frequency of administration, and duration of treatment are determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon and provided on the dispensing label. Animals receiving long-term diuretic therapy may require regular monitoring as advised by their vet.
Further information, including contraindications and potential side effects, can be found in the product data sheet available here.
