Fluoxevet 32mg Tablets for Dogs are a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing fluoxetine hydrochloride.
Each pack contains 30 tablets.
What is Fluoxevet used for?
Fluoxevet is authorised as an aid in the treatment of separation-related disorders in dogs, manifested by destruction and inappropriate behaviours such as vocalisation and inappropriate defecation and/or urination, and should be used in conjunction with behavioural modification techniques.
Your veterinary surgeon will determine whether Fluoxevet is appropriate for your dog and will advise you on the required dose and duration of treatment.
What does Fluoxevet contain?
Each tablet contains fluoxetine hydrochloride equivalent to 32mg fluoxetine.
How is Fluoxevet given?
Fluoxevet should be administered exactly as directed by the prescribing veterinary surgeon. Treatment should be used alongside an appropriate behavioural modification programme.
Do not alter the dose or discontinue treatment without first discussing this with your veterinary surgeon.
Important information
Fluoxevet should not be used in dogs weighing less than 4kg or in animals with epilepsy or a history of seizures. It should not be used in animals with a known hypersensitivity to fluoxetine, other selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), or any of the excipients.
Fluoxetine can interact with other medicines. Make sure your veterinary surgeon is aware of any other medications or supplements your dog is receiving.

Fluoxevet is classified as POM-V (Prescription Only Medicine – Veterinarian).
