PRODUCT INFORMATION
Ficoxil contains firocoxib, a selective COX-2 non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used in dogs for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, as well as for the control of post-operative pain.
Firocoxib works by targeting the COX-2 enzyme responsible for inflammation while sparing protective pathways, making it suitable for both short-term and long-term use under veterinary supervision.

Dosage and Administration
Ficoxil is given once daily at the dose prescribed by your veterinary surgeon. Tablets can be given with or without food.
Safety Information
Ficoxil is for use in dogs only and should not be used in young puppies, pregnant animals, or dogs with gastrointestinal, liver, or kidney disease unless advised by a vet. It should not be used alongside other NSAIDs or corticosteroids.
Possible side effects include vomiting, diarrhoea, reduced appetite, and lethargy. If more serious signs such as blood in vomit or stools occur, treatment should be stopped and veterinary advice sought.
