PRODUCT INFORMATION
For the stabilisation of hyperthyroidism in cats.
Felimazole is a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing methimazole, licensed for use in cats. It is indicated for the long-term management of feline hyperthyroidism.
Methimazole acts by inhibiting the synthesis of thyroid hormones, helping to reduce excessive circulating thyroxine (T4) levels associated with hyperthyroidism. Appropriate dosing and regular monitoring are essential to ensure effective and safe treatment, as directed by a veterinary surgeon.
Felimazole Film-Coated Tablets are commonly prescribed for cats requiring ongoing medical management of hyperthyroidism and are intended for long-term use.
