PRODUCT INFORMATION
Epiphen Oral Solution is a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing phenobarbital, licensed for the management of epilepsy in dogs.
The liquid formulation allows precise dose adjustment and may be particularly suitable for small dogs, patients requiring fine dose titration, or dogs unable to tolerate tablet administration.

Phenobarbital is used for long-term seizure control, with dosing and monitoring determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon in accordance with the individual patient’s clinical needs.
This product is classified as a Schedule 3 Controlled Drug (CD Sch 3).
A valid written veterinary prescription must be posted to Vetalia before this medicine can be supplied. Electronic copies or emailed scans are not acceptable for Schedule 3 Controlled Drugs. Postal details will be emailed after checkout.
Due to its controlled drug status:
Prescriptions are valid for 28 days
Each prescription may be dispensed once only
Repeat prescriptions are not permitted
Delivery is by tracked, signed-for service
Dosage instructions, frequency of administration, and duration of treatment are provided by the prescribing veterinary surgeon and shown on the dispensing label.
