Drontal Wormer Spot-On for Cats is a topical worming treatment for cats, formerly known as Dronspot. It contains emodepside and praziquantel and is used for the treatment of mixed roundworm and tapeworm infections in cats.

The spot-on formulation is applied directly to the skin, making it a convenient alternative to oral worming tablets, particularly for cats that are difficult to tablet.

Which Drontal Wormer Spot-On does my cat need?

Small Cats – 30mg/7.5mg (0.35ml): 0.5kg to 2.5kg
Medium Cats – 60mg/15mg (0.7ml): over 2.5kg to 5kg
Large Cats – 96mg/24mg (1.12ml): over 5kg to 8kg

Each pack contains 2 spot-on pipettes. Cats should be weighed before treatment to ensure the correct size is selected.

What worms does Drontal Spot-On treat?

Drontal Wormer Spot-On contains emodepside, which is active against roundworms, and praziquantel, which is active against tapeworms. It is licensed for the treatment of mixed parasitic infections caused by specified roundworms and tapeworms in cats.
