PRODUCT INFORMATION

Doxycare Tablets are a prescription-only veterinary medicine used in dogs and cats for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms.

They contain doxycycline, a tetracycline-class antibiotic commonly prescribed in small-animal practice. Doxycycline is used for a range of bacterial and atypical infections, including respiratory tract infections, urogenital infections, certain tick-borne diseases, and other infections where doxycycline sensitivity has been identified.

Doxycare Tablets are administered orally and may be prescribed as a short- or medium-term course depending on the condition being treated and the clinical response. Some conditions require longer courses, which should be completed in full as directed by the prescribing veterinary surgeon.

This product is a prescription-only veterinary medicine (POM-V).

Dosage, duration of treatment, and administration instructions are determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon and provided on the dispensing label.

Further information, including contraindications and potential side effects, can be found in the product data sheet available here.
