PRODUCT INFORMATION

Soothing topical skincare for dogs and cats with itchy, irritated or sensitive skin.

DOUXO S3 CALM is a veterinary dermatological skincare range formulated to soothe sensitive skin while supporting hydration, the skin barrier and the natural balance of the skin’s microbiota.

The range contains Ophytrium, a purified natural ingredient selected for its ability to soothe, strengthen and rebalance the skin. DOUXO S3 CALM may be used as supportive skincare for animals affected by itching, redness or irritation, including pets with allergy-prone or sensitive skin.

Choose from four different formats depending on the area being treated and whether washing is practical:

Available options

  • Shampoo 200ml: A rinse-off shampoo suitable for cleansing larger areas or the whole body.
  • Mousse 150ml: A convenient leave-on formulation for larger areas or whole-body application. No rinsing is required.
  • Pads – Pack of 30: Pre-moistened pads for targeted use on smaller, localised or difficult-to-reach areas.
  • Shampoo Bar 100g: A concentrated solid shampoo that provides an alternative to the liquid formulation. One bar is approximately equivalent to one 200ml bottle of shampoo.

Key benefits

  • Helps soothe itchy, irritated and sensitive skin
  • Supports hydration and the natural skin barrier
  • Helps maintain a balanced skin microbiota
  • Suitable for dogs and cats
  • Formulated with Ophytrium
  • Free from soap, sulphates, parabens, colourants, nanoparticles and phthalates

How to choose

Choose the shampoo or shampoo bar when the coat needs cleansing or when treating larger areas during bathing.

Choose the mousse for a leave-on option that does not require bathing or rinsing. This can be particularly useful between shampoos.

Choose the pads for targeted application to small or difficult-to-reach areas, such as paws and skin folds. Avoid direct contact with the eyes and the inside of the mouth.

Directions for use

Shampoo: Wet the coat with warm water. Apply and massage into the skin and coat. Leave in contact for 5–10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. Avoid the eyes. One pump is recommended per 2kg bodyweight, with approximately twice this amount for animals with long or thick coats.

Shampoo Bar: Wet the coat with warm water and apply the bar directly to the body. Work into a rich lather, massage into the skin and leave for 5–10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. Avoid the eyes.

Mousse: Apply to a dry, brushed coat and massage into the skin. Allow to dry naturally. Do not rinse. Follow the directions on the packaging for the amount required according to your pet’s size and coat length.

Pads: Apply gently to the affected area and do not rinse. Use a fresh pad as required and avoid direct contact with the eyes.

Always follow the instructions supplied with the selected product or the directions provided by your veterinary surgeon.

Important information

DOUXO S3 CALM is a supportive skincare range and is not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis or prescribed treatment. Persistent itching, hair loss, broken skin, discharge, odour or rapidly worsening irritation may indicate an underlying allergy, infection, parasite or other skin disorder requiring veterinary assessment.

If a bacterial or yeast-associated skin problem is suspected, seek veterinary advice regarding whether a more appropriate antimicrobial product or prescribed treatment is required.
