PRODUCT INFORMATION
Cerenia is a veterinary Prescription Only Medicine commonly prescribed for the management of nausea and vomiting in dogs.
It contains maropitant, a neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptor antagonist that works by blocking the action of substance P within the vomiting centre of the brain. This helps control nausea and vomiting from a wide range of causes without causing sedation.
Cerenia is frequently prescribed by veterinary professionals for acute vomiting, gastrointestinal disease, pancreatitis, chemotherapy-associated nausea, and other conditions where nausea or vomiting may affect comfort, appetite, or recovery.

Cerenia is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM-V) and can only be supplied with a valid veterinary prescription. It is a veterinary-licensed medicine supplied in accordance with UK veterinary medicines regulations.
The quantity supplied and duration of treatment will be in accordance with the prescribing veterinary surgeon’s instructions.
