PRODUCT INFORMATION
Please contact your veterinary surgeon to discuss alternative treatment options if required.
Cephacare Tablets are a prescription-only veterinary medicine used in dogs and cats for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms, including infections of the respiratory tract, urogenital tract, skin, and localised soft tissue infections. They contain cefalexin, a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic commonly prescribed in small-animal practice for a broad range of susceptible bacterial infections.
Cephacare Tablets are administered orally; the dose, frequency, and duration of treatment depend on the individual animal and the nature of the infection.
This product is a prescription-only veterinary medicine (POM-V).
Dosage, duration of treatment, and administration instructions are determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon and provided on the dispensing label. The full course should always be completed as prescribed, even if clinical signs improve.
Further information, including contraindications and potential side effects, can be found in the product data sheet available here.
