Cardisure Flavoured Tablets are a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing pimobendan, licensed for use in dogs with heart disease.

Cardisure is indicated for the treatment of congestive heart failure originating from atrioventricular valvular insufficiency or dilated cardiomyopathy, and for use in pre-clinical dilated cardiomyopathy where cardiac enlargement is present.

Pimobendan acts as a positive inotrope and vasodilator, helping to improve cardiac contractility while reducing cardiac workload. This can improve exercise tolerance, reduce clinical signs of heart failure, and support overall cardiac function.

Cardisure is commonly prescribed as part of a multimodal cardiac treatment plan, often alongside other heart medications, as directed by a veterinary surgeon.
