Caninsulin VetPen Needles (Compatible with Caninsulin VetPen Device)

Caninsulin VetPen Needles are designed for use with the Caninsulin VetPen insulin delivery device in dogs and cats prescribed Caninsulin 40 IU/ml.

These pen needles attach securely to the VetPen device to enable accurate subcutaneous insulin administration.

Needle gauge and length are selected according to manufacturer guidance and veterinary advice.

These needles are not compatible with insulin syringes and must only be used with the Caninsulin VetPen device.

This product is supplied as a veterinary medical consumable.

Safe Disposal of Used Needles

Used pen needles are classified as clinical sharps and must be disposed of safely.

After use, needles should be placed immediately into a rigid sharps container. A 0.5 litre sharps container is typically suitable for home insulin use.

Sharps must not be placed in household waste.

Many veterinary practices accept filled sharps containers from their clients for disposal. Some local councils also provide clinical waste collection services. Owners should contact their local authority for guidance.
