For the management of heart disease in dogs.
Benazecare Flavoured Tablets contain benazepril hydrochloride, a prescription-only veterinary medicine licensed for use in dogs with heart disease, including cases of congestive heart failure associated with valvular insufficiency.
Benazepril is an ACE inhibitor that works by reducing the effects of the renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system, helping to lower blood pressure and reduce cardiac workload. This supports improved circulation and cardiac function when used as part of an appropriate treatment plan.
Benazecare Flavoured Tablets are commonly used alongside other cardiac medications, as directed by a veterinary surgeon.
Benazecare should only be used under veterinary supervision and supplied against a valid veterinary prescription.
Tablets may be supplied either as individual tablets dispensed from original manufacturer packaging or as full sealed manufacturer packs, depending on the option selected and the veterinary prescription.
Further information, including contraindications and potential side effects, can be found in the product data sheet available here.
