PRODUCT INFORMATION

For the treatment of chronic manifestations of atopic dermatitis in dogs.

Atopica is a prescription-only veterinary medicine containing ciclosporin, licensed for use in dogs. It is an immunomodulatory treatment used in the management of chronic allergic skin disease.

Ciclosporin works by selectively modulating immune responses involved in the development of atopic dermatitis, helping to reduce inflammation and control clinical signs associated with allergic skin disease.

Atopica Capsules are commonly prescribed for the long-term management of canine atopic dermatitis, particularly in cases where other treatments are unsuitable or insufficient, as directed by a veterinary surgeon.

Atopica should only be used under veterinary supervision and supplied against a valid veterinary prescription.

Capsules may be supplied either as individual capsules dispensed from original manufacturer packaging or as full sealed manufacturer packs, depending on the option selected and the veterinary prescription.

Further information, including contraindications and potential side effects, can be found in the product data sheet available here.
