- Uploaded prescriptions are valid for up to 6 months or until the prescribed number of repeats has been supplied, whichever comes first. In accordance with UK Veterinary Medicines Regulations, we are legally required to retain veterinary prescriptions for a minimum of 5 years.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
Amoxibactin Tablets are a prescription-only veterinary antibacterial medicine containing amoxicillin. Amoxibactin 50mg is licensed for dogs and cats, while the 250mg and 500mg strengths are licensed for dogs.
Available strengths
- 50mg – contains 50mg amoxicillin; for dogs and cats.
- 250mg – contains 250mg amoxicillin; for dogs.
- 500mg – contains 500mg amoxicillin; for dogs.

What is Amoxibactin used for?
Amoxibactin is licensed for the treatment of specified susceptible bacterial infections, including certain infections of the respiratory and urogenital tracts and local skin infections. Treatment should be based on veterinary assessment and appropriate antimicrobial prescribing principles.
Administration
Amoxibactin is administered orally. The tablets can be divided into halves or quarters to support accurate dosing. Give the strength, dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your veterinary surgeon. Any divided tablet portion should be returned to the opened blister and used within 4 days.

Amoxibactin is a POM-V (Prescription Only Medicine – Veterinarian). A valid veterinary prescription is required before Vetalia can dispense this medicine.
