PRODUCT INFORMATION
Vitofyllin is a prescription-only veterinary medicine (POM-V) containing propentofylline, used in dogs for the management of reduced vitality, lethargy, and dullness associated with ageing.
Propentofylline acts by improving blood flow and tissue oxygenation, particularly within the central nervous system and peripheral tissues. Vitofyllin is commonly prescribed in older dogs to support alertness, activity levels, and general quality of life, where age-related changes are contributing to reduced responsiveness or engagement.
Vitofyllin is supplied as film-coated tablets and is available in different strengths to allow dosing to be tailored according to the dog’s size and the prescribing veterinary surgeon’s clinical judgement.
This product is a prescription-only veterinary medicine and may only be supplied against a valid veterinary prescription.
Dosage, duration of treatment, and administration instructions are determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon and provided on the dispensing label.
