PRODUCT INFORMATION
Galliprant Tablets are a prescription-only veterinary medicine used for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in dogs.
They contain grapiprant, a prostaglandin E2 (EP4) receptor antagonist. Unlike traditional non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), Galliprant works by specifically targeting the EP4 receptor involved in osteoarthritic pain and inflammation, while sparing other prostaglandin pathways.
Galliprant is commonly prescribed for the long-term management of osteoarthritis, particularly in dogs where conventional NSAIDs may be unsuitable or require careful consideration.
This product is a prescription-only veterinary medicine (POM-V).
Galliprant Tablets are administered once daily, with the strength selected according to the dog’s body weight. The dose, duration of treatment, and administration instructions are determined by the prescribing veterinary surgeon and will be provided on the dispensing label. Tablets should be given exactly as prescribed.
